March 8th has been celebrated as International Women's Day since 1975. Each year, people worldwide honor women and their accomplishments and also draw attention to important issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and various others. Additionally, some countries celebrate Women's History Month in March. In honor of these events in 2023, Warrior Love Productions launched HerVoice non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

In this article, we will find out what these NFTs are and how they help elevate women in the real world and in the Web3 space.

About HerVoice NFTs

Cryptocurrencies and NFTs have proved to be great solutions for participating in charity. They allow people to be involved no matter where they are; moreover, such payments are transparent and not expensive in fees. Philanthropists from the blockchain space are known for their efforts to help those in need.

Warrior Love Productions is a Web3 studio that creates NFTs and does marketing, content strategy, etc. for various projects. The company decided to use NFTs as a way to help with real-world problems as well as support women in the crypto space with the HerVoice digital collection.

There are 3,905 tokens that stand for 3.905 bln women who live on the planet. NFTs feature photos of dancers which were animated using AI.

As a complement to the visuals, 26 women recite poems written by Melissa Jun Rowley, the founder and CEO of Warrior Love Productions. For example, one of the voices belongs to Dewa Khan, a human rights activist from Afghanistan and a speaker for war-affected communities. The poems are narrated in 10 languages.

The first 5 NFTs from this collection became available on March 15, 2023, on SOLIS Market, a digital marketplace on Polygon.

Who do HerVoice NFTs help?

The profits from tokens’ sales will go towards CARE – a non-profit organization that does humanitarian work in over 100 countries. Its mission is to enhance basic education, improve access to quality health care, and provide economic opportunity. Even though the foundation’s focus is broader than just gender equality, in March, they emphasize those initiatives that allow women to lead and inspire.

Some of the buyers of HerVoice NFTs are promised to get CARE’s Awards and an opportunity to visit events with celebrity ambassadors of the non-profit.

Additionally, the NFTs’ sales will be used for Web 3.0 education events organized by Warrior Love Productions to encourage more women to join this sphere.

To sum up, the crypto sphere and Web3 space are now mostly male-dominated fields, even though they have a great potential for becoming a space where everyone gets a fair shot. It is good to see more projects that contribute to a wider range of participants, because, after all, that is what accelerates mass adoption of crypto and little by little turns our world into its best version.
