SimpleSwap Fiat API

This section answers frequently asked questions about SimpleSwap API for fiat exchanges.

What is the SimpleSwap API for fiat exchanges?

API (Application Programming Interface) is one of the tools of the SimpleSwap Affiliate Program. Our Affiliate Partners can use API alongside a referral link, widget, banner, and button. In return, our Affiliate Partners receive rewards in BTC. API is integrated into one’s website or service and allows visitors to create exchanges with SimpleSwap without having to switch between numerous tabs.

SimpleSwap Affiliate Partners can choose between three types of API keys:

  1. for all kinds of exchanges;
  2. only for fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat exchanges;
  3. only for crypto-to-crypto exchanges.

How to integrate SimpleSwap API for fiat exchanges?

Getting an API for fiat exchanges is easy, just follow this guide:

  1. Create an Affiliate account.
  2. Choose “API” in the Web Tools section in your Affiliate account.
  3. Click on the “Add New” button to create your unique API key.
  4. Choose Fiat in the first drop-down menu:
  5. Copy the API key and embed it into your website’s backend.

If you need any additional information about API keys, please read the API documentation. There, you can find information about the requests, necessary parameters, and possible errors.

What are the conditions for using SimpleSwap API for fiat exchanges?

Here are the main points of working with our API:

  1. If you integrate this type of API, all finished exchanges made via SimpleSwap will bring you a 0.4% commission. Unlike API for crypto-to-crypto swaps, this fee cannot be customized.
  2. Once your reward for finished exchanges made by the users of your website surpasses 300 USDT, you can go to the “Payouts” section and click on the Withdraw button.
  3. If a user creates a fiat exchange, the API response will include a link to our partner’s site (Guardarian). The user has to follow the link to finish the exchange.
  4. Please note that we may require users planning to conduct a fiat exchange to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) process to comply with our fiat partners’ policies and regulations.

You can learn more about our Affiliate Program on our website and in the Affiliate Program Terms of Service.

We also have Helpdesk sections that answer questions about the errors you may encounter when working with our API, and a more general guide on the integration of SimpleSwap API.
