He condemned the incident as "absolutely heineous" and called for immediate action, including providing help to the streamer:

In another shocking case, a streamer allegedly promised to stage a school shooting live if their token goals were unmet.

These incidents, coupled with others such as individuals locking themselves in dog cages, firing guns out of windows, and making threats against family members, painted a grim picture of the platform’s moderation capabilities.

Community and Industry Reaction

The crypto community has been vocal in its criticism of pump.fun's handling of moderation. One user on social media said, that all this might end in deaths and Pump.fun will be held accountable. Many have called for the complete removal of live streaming to prevent further escalation and avoid regulatory repercussions.
