On September 12, 2023, a biography of X Corp owner Elon Musk will be released. The book, created by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), will delve into various aspects of Musk's life, including his secret support for the Dogecoin (DOGE) project.

The biography will recount a moment when Musk showed interest in Dogecoin and expressed enthusiasm about it. In jest, he made a remark that Dogecoin, despite its unserious status, could potentially serve as the foundation for a future payment system.

That means, there is a chance that Musk supported the development of Dogecoin in secret, away from the public eye. This news might bring troubles to the famous milliarder. In June 2022, Musk faced a collective lawsuit amounting to $258 billion, accusing him of involvement in a fraudulent scheme related to the DOGE token. In early April 2023, Musk's lawyers filed a motion to close the case due to lack of evidence. In May, another accusation emerged, this time alleging insider trading against the X Corp owner.

Musk's legal team insists on the closure of both cases, asserting that their client has no connection to the DOGE token, and that his jokes and publications, which influenced the price of DOGE, should not be taken seriously.

WSJ's upcoming biography of Musk promises to shed light on many aspects of his life and career, including his involvement with Dogecoin. Additionally, it will reveal information about Musk's relationship with former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried. They might be involved in a deal to acquire Twitter, despite Musk's denial of this fact. SimpleSwap has previously written an article, where we noted that Elon Musk has a soft spot for the DOGE. We will keep a close eye on the situation, and keep you posted.
