Tether CEO Announced the Launch of 5 New Projects
Tether is gearing up to launch five innovative products as part of expanding its ecosystem. This was announced by the company's CEO, Paolo Ardoino, who mentioned that the unveiling of these new services is expected in 2024.
According to Ardoino, some of the upcoming solutions have the potential to "could obliterate some popular Web2 centralized services". However, he did not provide specific details about the projects to which this statement refers. The head of Tether emphasized that the number of products being developed by the company is steadily increasing, and they are aimed at expanding the stablecoin ecosystem.
Ardoino characterized the components of the Tether ecosystem as things that people really need. In late October 2023, Tether was authorized to issue 1 billion USDT on the Tron network. The company's CEO noted that stablecoins will be used for further issuance or swaps between blockchains.
Additionally, on November 2, it was revealed that Tether extended a credit line to the German miner Northern Data, amounting to €575 million. The funds will be used to develop the miner's business.
