The Crypto World showed that it has a unique capacity to unite people around new projects even though they do not have an obvious practical use. There are several examples that definitely have a right to catch your attention as they are the cutest tokens ever.

Just recently the SHIBA INU token was listed on Binance. SHIBA INU (SHIB) describes itself as an experiment in "spontaneous community building".SHIBA INU is planning to follow the Dogecoin footsteps. This project also uses a picture of a worldwide loved dog as its main image and grew from a joke meme token into a full-sized ecosystem. The SHIBA INU community offers a variety of activities to support the same-named breed of dogs all around the world. By supporting the community people help to rescue those dogs that need help. However, the fate of this cryptocurrency seems a little shaky at the moment as Vitalik Buterin was not very optimistic about the unhealthy hype around memetic cryptocurrencies. He donated more than 50 trillion SHUB tokens to the India’s Covid Crypto Covid Relief Fund. After his transaction, the price of this cryptocurrency has dropped.

DOGE is considered to be the first dog crypto. It appeared as a joke based on a well-known meme in December 2013 and unexpectedly grew into an amazingly successful project. We all had a chance to witness a skyrocketing of the DOGE price after the famous Elon Musk’s tweets. The sudden rise of DOGE in 2021 provoked a wave of hype tokens. In January 2022 Tesla started accepting Dogecoins and allowed people to buy some items using this crypto.

KISHU is another token that uses a cute dog image to draw attention. The Kishu Inu decentralized meme project appeared in April 2021. There is the info in the Whitepaper that one of the main goals of Kishu Inu is to promote the cryptocurrency phenomenon and its mass adoption. Theproject has ambitious plans and makes a promise to develop its own token, NFT marketplace (KISHU CRATE), merchandise store (KISHU sWAG), decentralized exchange (KISHU SWAP), and wallet tracker (KISHU PAW PRINT).

The Floki Inu (FLOKI) token also should be grateful for its appearance to the patron of dog meme coins, Elon Musk. Floki is the name of his Shiba Inu puppy. It seems that the project is trying to catch up with all main Internet trends and is focusing on the NFT topic, which is so popular in 2021.

Dogelon Mars (ELON) is an ERC-20 meme token created with a reference to Elon Musk and his passion for his company SpaceX. According to the token creator’s idea, Dogelon Mars is a dog that is sent to Earth to assist mankind and establish an intergalactic currency. This currency is supposed to be ELON. The project was launched in April 2021 but already has thousands of holders and fans. The Dogelon Mars Team announced that they will be venturing into the world of DeFi and NFTs in the near future.

WOOFY is a token issued by Yearn Finance in May 2021. The name of the token follows the trend of obsession with dogs. This token is supposed to check the theory of the unit bias concept. The idea of the unit bias supposes that people are more likely to purchase a whole unit rather than a small piece. So WOOFY is an alternative YFI token in smaller units. The theory is working. Since the release of WOOFY, YFI showed a significant price increase of up to $95,000.

Welcome to the world, buddy! Meet Baby Doge — he is a son of a real crypto-star — Doge meme coin. Baby doge is a brand new coin which was launched on June 1, 2021, and has quickly won the heart of the community. This token protocol is based on Binance. It is willing to ensure price growth by focusing on tokens’ cute appeal and resemblance to a popular meme. What else is interesting, the main coin founder exposed himself as Christian Campisi, a well-known animal rights activist.

Another fresh project that was born in 2021 is Samoyedcoin (SAMO). Samoyedcoin appears to be much more than just a nice digital asset. It is positioned as an Ambassador established to onboard the new Solana users. Also, Samo has created over 5 000 NFT designs picturing all different appearances of Samoyed dogs — there are scary zombies, glamour rockstars, fierce sheriffs, funny students, and many more characters to unlock.

Shiborg Inu is a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) token built on Ether (ETH) and Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The project’s legend says that Shiborg is a brave cybernetic dog designed to maintain balance in the crypto world with its artificial paws. Project has a space map instead of the usual roadmap — it contains plans of making Airdrops, creating a special meme NFT platform (there are already some NFT arts available on the Shiborg website) and increasing the number of holders.

One more dog entering the crypto market — POODL. It is a token managed and supported by its community. A group of developers created POODL and abandoned it after pumping and dumping for some time as well as many other tokens. In March, 2021, the project was revived and became a new meme coin. Now there are more than 30 000 token holders maintaining the project. POODL also has a nice NFT collection called AR pets.

HOGE is a meme bulldog and ERC20 token developed on Ethereum blockchain. As many other pet coins, HOGE was launched a year ago (February 7, 2021). No tokens were distributed to the team. Primary HOGE supply was 1 trillion with half burned at the very launch. Now it is a decentralized project driven by its community members completely. Also, HOGE has begun minting NFTs and sponsoring eSports and Rally Racing Trucks.

One more meme coin to learn about is Pitbull (PIT) that serves as an auto-staking token. It has no dev wallets and no control of contract or control of liquidity in order to make sure the token holder's experience will be as safe and transparent as possible. Released March 17, 2021, the Pitbull project has been improved by the community from the very beginning and describes itself as a “safe by design” token. You are welcome to learn more about this project by reading the recap of our AMA Session with Pitbull.

WoofWork is a decentralized platform built on the Binance Smart Chain that aims to revolutionize the freelancing industry. The platform connects businesses and individuals with a global network of freelancers who specialize in various fields, including web development, marketing, writing, and more. WoofWork's unique feature is its use of blockchain technology to ensure transparency, security, and efficiency in the payment process. By utilizing smart contracts, WoofWork provides secure payment escrow services that protect both parties from fraud or payment disputes. Additionally, WoofWork's native token, WOOF, can be used to access premium features and services on the platform, and also serves as a means of payment for freelancers. The WOOF token has Shiba Inu wearing glasses on it, which is also used as an official mascot of the project.

Vita Inu

It positions itself as a fast dog coin with no fees and the first ever memecoin in the metaverse. The project was created in 2021. The team's goal's to establish an interactive and engaging environment that showcases the biggest tech revolution of the current generation. To accomplish this, they're developing the Vinuverse, a metaverse that will consist of a total VR world, the VinuSwap Dapp, NFTs, staking opportunities, rewards, events, merchandise, and much more. The native token of the Vita Inu, VINU, is used to give access to the Vinuverse, as well as various perks and benefits.

The Crypto World is still very surprised with the new token trend. Before 2021 it seemed very unlikely that a meme could become such a popular token. Apparently, the human factor plays a huge role. Everyone seems to be a little overwhelmed with serious events and loves dogs too much.
