SimpleSwap 2020

With 2020 almost behind us, it's a good time to look back and remember everything that was done this year. We are happy to bring fresh ideas and implement new features for SimpleSwap customers to make our relationship more pleasant!

Customer Account

The year started from the launch of the SimpleSwap Customer Account where you can receive all the necessary information about your swaps made on our platform. It allows to check your exchange history and monitor the exchange statuses. In July the social login option was added to enter Customer Accounts. This helped to make an exchange process more clear and comfortable.

New design

The SimpleSwap website always was intuitive and user friendly, but as we always try to improve our service, it was redesigned in February. In October our Blog followed suit. Сlear and distinctive style helped to refresh the look.

New languages

To make our platform more convenient for crypto enthusiasts from all around the world, we decided to translate simpleswap.io into different languages. We started with Vietnamese, and continue to do language by language. Since then, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese languages have been added to the website.

The SimpleSwap Mobile App

In May, the SimpleSwap Mobile App for iOS & Android was launched! It provides customers with a great opportunity to make the crypto exchange conveniently anywhere.

Widget

The Widget launch also happened in May. Our Affiliate Program offers you multiple ways of gaining extra profit with SimpleSwap. You can customize the widget easily and add it to your service with just a few clicks. Help your regular customers find a convenient exchange and receive a reward for it!

Live Chat

SimpleSwap added Live Chat to the website and Mobile App in September. If you have any questions, you are welcome to use it. Our team is always happy to help!

Simplings

In October SimpleSwap got its own mascots - Simplings. Now these cute round babies are full members of our community. They also became a part of the official SimpleSwap sticker set added to Telegram. Simplings are meant to help, call luck on cryptocurrency rates, and make our lives a little brighter.

Fiat-to-Crypto Exchanges

The new option of purchasing cryptocurrency with fiat was added to the SimpleSwap website in November. One month later, in December, this option appeared in the Mobile App too. It became possible to buy crypto with USD, EUR, GBP, RUB, UAH, TL right on our platform. Eager to check it out? You are welcome to find the full instruction on how to do it.

Celebrating Holidays together

On St.Valentine’s Day SimpleSwap held a contest on Twitter and asked its followers to tell why they love crypto. The inspiring vibe of crypto enthusiasm was in the air!

In April on the occasion of Easter, we organized a big Hunting Game together with our partners Horizen, ReddCoin, Particl, and Hydra. Our crypto hunters had fun and the luckiest of them got the desired coins.

SimpleSwap is growing fast. This year to celebrate our 2nd Birthday we conducted a contest on Twitter where asked our customers to send us congratulations. We were so happy to get many warm and creative wishes from our followers!

The whole Crypto World including SimpleSwap celebrated BTC Halving in May. We even organized a special contest in our Telegram Chat and rewarded the winner who was the most accurate with their price prediction.

Remember about BTC Pizza Day? We definitely do! As we respect the traditions of crypto history, this event was celebrated with a Giveaway.

To make the spookiest time of the year remarkable, SimpleSwap together with ZEN, NULS, SYS, SKY, NXS, IoTeX, CMT, COTI cryptocurrencies organized the Halloween EggHunt in October. 

On Black Friday our customers had a chance to meet a Black Sheep on our website and get special promo codes from her.

The last week before Christmas SimpleSwap provided special rates for BTC to DASH, BTC to NPXS, BTC to NULS, BTC to DGB, BTC to QTUM exchanges. Also, the Christmas Giveaway was organized, and all who made exchanges during this period had a chance to win $50 in BTC or special SimpleSwap Gifts. We are always happy to delight our customers, and glad when our coin partners support our ideas.

This year SimpleSwap arranged special campaigns with DeepOnion, IoTeX, PotCoin, Particle, LBRY, RSR, NIX, ReddCoin, Neblio, RADS, DigiByte, CyberMiles, Horizen, BEAM, AAVE, NULS, Selfkey, Harmony, Electroneum, SwftCoin, and PIVX coins. Also together with NULS, NIM, Bluzelle, AVA, and Syscoin we launched Giveaways to bring joy to our crypto enthusiasts.

To give more people a chance to learn about crypto we updated our FAQ, created useful articles, prepared cool tutorials and videos for our YouTube Channel.

You can see that SimpleSwap doesn’t stand still. Our service forges ahead as we managed to stabilize our exchange system, continued to add new coins available for exchange, updated App versions to make it better for people who trust us and come to make exchanges.

SimpleSwap would like to thank its customers and partners for this effective and amazing crypto year. Even though 2020 was challenging, we were happy to spend it with you!
