About Kishu Inu (KISHU)

Kishu Inu (KISHU) is a fairly recent meme token that strives to bring its users utility and form a consolidated community. This is an ERC20 token built on Ethereum.

Inspired by such coins as SHIB and DOGE, it also has a cartoonish dog as a mascot; this one is a white dog that belongs to the Japanese breed called Kishu, hence the name. One of its most widely known features is that it rewards token holders: the 2% fee from each transaction is distributed among users.

Kishu Inu has a comprehensive ecosystem that includes the following products:

  1. Kishu Swap: a decentralized exchange. The company is planning to upgrade this service: the new version (Kishu Swap X) will offer to trade a number of tokens across 22 chains. The launch date has not been announced.
  2. Kishu Paw Print: a service that gives users information about their rewards from DEX transactions, wallet balances, etc.
  3. Kishuverse: a platform for minting NFTs, which has not been finalized yet.
  4. Kishu Crate: a marketplace for trading NFTs. Users have an opportunity to stake KISHU tokens there in order to receive NFT rewards created by artists who belong to the community. In the future, there will also be digital art contests that are supposed to increase engagement.
  5. Kishu sWAG: merchandise shop. The team emphasizes that they only use profits to support further platform development and to enhance the experience for the KISHU community.

Furthermore, the developers plan to add a play-to-earn game called Kishu Kingdom to the mix in the future. It is supposed to be a card game that includes various elements from the token’s ecosystem, for example, the Kishuverse.

Aside from KISHU, there is a coin called TENSHI. It was introduced a couple of months later than the main coin. Holders also receive awards. TENSHI will be used for governance: users will get to choose the charities Kishu Inu will help.

Kishu Inu states that transparency is a core value, and they published the security audit on their website.

As of February 2023, Kishu Inu had over 200,000 holders and the market cap exceeded $63 mln. In the present 5th stage of the project’s roadmap, they plan to achieve 500,000 holders and found a crypto charity organization.

Where did Kishu Inu (KISHU) come from?

The token was launched in April 2021 by an anonymous group of developers. They announced the new crypto coin on a Times Square billboard.

The publicity stunt probably worked as intended because the company claims to have reached a 100,000 holders milestone during the first month of existence.

Kishu Inu launched almost simultaneously with two other dog-themed coins – Baby Doge and Kabosu. Some people are convinced that the same group of developers is responsible for all three, but this could well be just a coincidence due to the popularity of such cryptocurrencies with meme dogs

The project’s mission is to help crypto become mainstream. The team also intends for the cryptocurrency to grow into a globally recognized brand and have real-world utility.

What are the advantages of Kishu Inu (KISHU)?

  1. Income

This simple idea with a 2% commission allocated to holders makes the process easy.
  2. Diversity

There are many products in the token ecosystem at the moment, and the range is likely to expand further.

What are the disadvantages of Kishu Inu (KISHU)?

  1. Competition

The crypto market is already saturated with meme coins, and larger companies like SHIB or DOGE outnumber KISHU in terms of user count. Moreover, other meme coins are also evolving with utility in mind. For example,
Shiba Inu is working on a level-2 network.
  2. Lack of information

Despite the high value of transparency (according to the white paper), the team remains anonymous.
